My name is Mayllenie Antoine, and Skivana Botanicals was born out of a lifelong love for beauty, self-expression, and helping others feel confident in their own skin.

My journey began in 2018 with a small hair color business inspired by my passion for vibrant looks and creativity. While I enjoyed the process, I realized my true calling came later, in 2021, when I decided to pursue aesthetics and skincare at Cortiva Institute. During my studies, I discovered how transformative caring for the skin could be and dreamed of one day opening my own spa. Although I never completed my aesthetician license, the passion I uncovered for skincare and wellness stayed with me, and I knew I wanted to create something lasting in this field. Skincare also runs in my roots. Growing up, I watched my mom create natural body butters, and I learned the power of simple, plant-based ingredients. With that inspiration, I launched my first skincare line, Color War Skincare Solutions, handcrafting recipes that gained loyal customers. But when life challenges came, I pressed pause on my dream.

In 2023, I suffered the devastating loss of my brother, Arthur Antoine, to gun violence. He had been my greatest supporter, and his passing left me broken. Yet, in 2025, the birth of my daughter, Artoria M.J. (named in honor of my brother), gave me a renewed sense of hope and motivation. She became my reason to rebuild and create again.

Out of both love and loss, Skivana Botanicals was born, a reimagined skincare line dedicated to balance, peace, and radiance. Just as nirvana represents a state of perfect peace, my brand reflects my commitment to offering products that nourish skin, uplift spirit, and honor the people who inspire me.

Skivana Botanicals is more than skincare. It is a journey of healing, beauty, and legacy rooted in family, faith, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel their most radiant self.
